Steven joined USA Risk Group in 2011. As Vice President, he oversees a team of account managers to ensure the timely preparation of financial statements and the operational administration of each client’s captive, including all aspects of regulatory compliance for both domestic and international clients.

Steven has over 16 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry, focusing on captive management since 2011. Before joining USA Risk Group, Steven worked for EFG Capital Advisors in the Cayman Islands, as well as KPMG in both the Cayman Islands and South Africa.

In this role, he oversees a team of account managers to ensure the timely preparation of financial statements and the operational administration of each client’s captive, including all aspects of regulatory compliance for both domestic and international clients.

Steven holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree in Accounting from the University of South Africa and is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Cayman Islands Institutes of Professional Accountants, and the International Center for Captive Insurance Education. His professional designations include Chartered Accountant of South Africa (CA(SA)) and Associate in Captive Insurance (ACI).
