Rob serves as Senior Vice President of USA Risk Group. In 2005, Rob joined the company as Vice President in the Cayman office and in 2017 was promoted to Senior Vice President of the company’s international operations. He was a key member of the 2019 management buyout of the Company.

Paul Macey joined the Company in 2005 and is the President of the USA Risk Group (Cayman) Ltd.

The Cayman Islands Ministry of Financial Services released the article below about possibly being removed from the gray list, after satisfying another of the FATF's 63 recommended actions. This means that the Cayman Islands has satisfied 62 of 63 recommended actions in relation to improving our anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) regime.

Paul Voller, a Managing Director at Price Forbes, started his career at Alexander Howden. He started as a junior broker in 1974, at the tender age of 16, where he worked on all types of US Casualty business including Healthcare. He joined Lloyd Thompson in 1988, concentrating solely on the healthcare industry. He worked at Lloyd Thompson for 31 years through various reiterations through to JLT. In October 2019,  following Lloyd Thompsons acquisition by Marsh, he started working at independent broker, Price Forbes, to run their healthcare team.

Robert Walling, a Principal at Pinnacle Actuarial Resources, has been a consulting actuary since 1997. 

Jack Meskunas is the Executive Director for Investments at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. He started in the investment industry in 1989 and began managing money for captives in 1991.  He has always focused primarily on offshore captives, but does work with domestic captives too.  During June 2020, he completed his ACI® Certification Program which he says has given him an even greater understanding—and appreciation—for what captives and captive managers do.

Paul Macey, president at USA Risk Group, tells us how life has changed since the Cayman Islands went into lockdown as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. He talks to us about his daily routine while working from home, the positive and negative impacts of this change and his opinion on what lies ahead for the captive insurance industry. He has have over 40 years of experience in the insurance industry; the last 30 of which have been in Cayman, managing all forms of insurance and reinsurance companies.

George Town, Grand Cayman, May 17, 2019 – USA Risk Group, a leading independent captive management firm, announced today that the senior management team has completed a management buyout from Spencer Capital Holdings. The buyout will include operations from all captive jurisdictions USA Risk Group currently operates in. The existing management team will remain in place to manage all current and new clients.

Burlington, VT - August 10, 2017 - USA Risk Group won both Independent Captive Manager of the Year and Risk Retention Group Manager of the Year at the annual Captive Review Awards hosted August 7 in Burlington, Vermont. USA Risk Group was one of five companies that took home two awards that night. Two days later, the Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA) honored Gary Osborne, President of USA Risk Group, with their Industry Service Award.
